Wear Your Status With Status King
Every once and awhile you stumble upon an idea that is truly unique. One of those ideas is Status King. Status King is a Facebook application that allows you to put the Facebook status of your choice on a shirt. While this idea is surely not protected from imitators, it is still a clever application to hook into a social network.
The shirt design is laid out with your profile picture, name, last update time, and status. Using the application allows you to preview your design before ordering, so be sure to check spelling before submission. The system is very easy to use, and it looks slick as well. Costs are 18 and 20 dollars, for Men’s and Women’s shirts respectively.
If you don’t feel like ordering your own shirt you can still play their built in game. Throughout the week you can vote on your favorite statuses, or submit your own. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday the winner will receive a free shirt. It can be fun just seeing all of the clever statuses that people come up with.
It will be interesting to see if this is just a fad or if it has staying power. I love to see great ideas rewarded, so if you and your friends are addicted to Facebook beat them to the punch and get your status on a shirt!

Thanks for the post. My brothers and I thought of Status King late last year. Usually when you have a great idea you will learn that someone has already done it. We were shocked no one had tried this yet (meaning we were first a great idea or just the only ones dumb enough to try it, perhaps both). It will be fun to see if it works.
